RegTraC Level 1 – Compliance Training for Non-Compliance Staff

This level of study was created to meet the specific compliance training needs of a credit union’s non-compliance staff and consists of five training modules.
Module Content

Level 1 provides an overview of the requirements of each regulation, examples of how daily activities can be affected by those requirements, and quizzes to help reinforce major points. Students demonstrate their understanding by passing a multiple choice and true/false exam for each of the five training modules.

Pricing
Level 1 modules can be purchased as a Compliance Training Kit that includes all five modules for a cost of $175 or as Individual Modules for $35 each.

Keep your modules up-to-date
To stay up-to-date each year, make an annual investment of $175 for all five module updates or $35 per module which will provide training materials each spring. Annually you will receive a subscription renewal reminder when it is time to renew your RegTraC materials. The update includes:

Regulation-Specific Courses Now Available Through CPDOnline
Do you need compliance training for a particular regulation or law, but not all the regulations currently offered in a RegTraC module? CPDOnline has a convenient solution to your training needs! Simply take the regulation course that you need and test on it. It's that easy! If your credit union has a CPDOnline membership, your cost will be under $20 for the exam. RegTraC Level 1 courses and modules are available in print and online through CPDOnline. Online exams are also offered for RegTraC Level 1 providing the ease of 24/7 access and immediate exam scoring.

National Recognition & Certification
Level 1 students demonstrate their compliance knowledge by passing a 40 question multiple choice and true/false exam for each of the training modules they study. These exams are open book, require 80% correct answers to pass, and receive either a pass or fail grade. A grade letter with exam results will be mailed to students and a Compliance Achievement Award Certificate will be mailed for each module exam successfully completed. After passing all five exams, students receive the Compliance Achievement Award. The quizzes included in each module section serve as great study tools when preparing for the exams. Additional exam answer sheets are available for multiple learners. To ensure students are tested on current compliance information, exam versions expire annually as each RegTraC Update is released. Revised exams are part of the annual Level 1 Updates.

Recertification is not a requirement for RegTraC Level 1. However, since understanding regulatory changes is critical to ensuring compliance in your credit union’s operations, CUNA recommends having non-compliance staff re-test on modules every 2 years.
