The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) second
Tech Sprint will take place March 22-26 and focus on the Home Mortgage
Disclosure Act (HMDA). Tech Sprints gather regulators, technologists, financial
institutions, and subject matter experts from key stakeholders for several days
to work together to develop innovative solutions to clearly-identified
challenges.
The HMDA Virtual Tech Sprint will include “opportunities to
improve the data submission process; expand the utility of HMDA data and
consumer and industry facing tools; and increase utilization of existing or new
APIs.”
Participants can choose between two options: HMDA data submission
and HMDA data publication.
Applications are due by Tuesday, February 9,
2021.
