CFPB Provides Details about Protecting Older Account Holders

During a call Wednesday, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) hosted a webinar to discuss how banks and credit unions can protect older consumers from financial abuse. The call began with remarks from CFPB Director Richard Cordray and was followed by a presentation from the CFPB’s Office for Older Americans and an opportunity for questions.
