Input Requested on NCUA CDRLF Proposal
Posted July 05, 2016 by CUNA Advocacy

At its June Board meeting, NCUA issued a proposed rule to update the regulation governing the Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF). According to NCUA, the changes are purely technical/organizational in nature. While this appears to be the case, we would like you to take a look at our comment call, and let us know if you have any concerns or issues with the proposal.

NCUA’s CDRLF is a source of financial support, in the form of loans and technical assistance grants, for credit unions serving predominantly low-income members. It also serves as a source of funding to help low-income credit unions respond to emergencies arising in their communities.

NCUA is accepting comments through August 22.
