Posted November 15, 2018 by CUNA Advocacy

The SBA’s Office of Advocacy will host a listening session on Monday, December 3, 2018, in Washington, D.C. focused on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The session will included representatives of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Disability Rights Section.  CUNA will be in attendance and credit unions interested in participating in-person may contact Alexander Monterrubio, Senior Director of Advocacy & Counsel for additional information.

The session will include a high-level introduction on three ADA hot topics for small businesses—physical accessibility, website accessibility, and service animals.  There will also be an opportunity for participants to share their experiences on these issues and provide general feedback during a DOJ Listening Session.
