The House of Representatives will consider H.R. 7, the Paycheck Fairness Act and H.R. 1195, the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act.

The Senate will consider the nomination of Polly Ellen Trottenberg to be Deputy Secretary of Transportation.

  • The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing: "Separate and Unequal: The Legacy of Racial Discrimination in Housing.
  • The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee Subcommittee On Economic Policy will hold a hearing: "The Student Debt Burden and Its Impact on Racial Justice, Borrowers, & The Economy."

Wednesday

  • The House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs will hold a markup: “Critical Management Issues – U.S. Diplomatic and Development Agencies.” And the nominations of Diana R. Shaw, Acting Inspector General, U.S. Department of State, Thomas J.   • The House Committee on Financial Services will hold a hearing: “Build Back Better: Investing in Equitable and Affordable Housing Infrastructure.”
