The House of Representatives will consider H.R. 1187, the ESG Disclosure Simplification Act of 2021 [Corporate Governance Improvement and Investor Protection Act]; and H.R. 256, a bill to repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002.

The following bills will be considered under expedited procedures:

  • H.R. 3325 – To award four congressional gold medals to the United States Capitol Police and those who protected the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 (Rep. Pelosi – Financial Services)
  • H.R. 3642 – Harlem Hellfighters Congressional Gold Medal Act, as amended (Rep. Suozzi – Financial Services)
  • H.R. 2332 – Debt Bondage Repair Act, as amended (Rep. McHenry – Financial Services)
  • H.R. 1443 – LGBTQ Business Equal Credit Enforcement and Investment Act, as amended (Rep. Torres (NY) – Financial Services)

The Senate will resume consideration of Ketanji Brown Jackson to be a U.S. Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit.



The House Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties will hold a hearing: “Potential Remedies for Unlawful Evictions in Federal Emergency Areas.”


The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing: "21st Century Communities: Local Leaders on the Infrastructure Needs Facing America’s States, Cities, and Towns."

The House Committee on Financial Services Task Force on Financial Technology will hold a hearing: “Digitizing the Dollar: Investigating the Technological Infrastructure, Privacy, and Financial Inclusion Implications of Central Bank Digital Currencies.”


The Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing: "Hearing on the President’s Fiscal Year 2022 Budget."

The House Committee on Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development, and Insurance will hold a hearing: “Flexible Federal Funding: Examining the Community Development Block Grant Program and Its Impact on Addressing Local Challenges.”


The House Committee on Ways and Means will hold a hearing: “President's Proposed Fiscal Year 2022 Budget with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.”

The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing: "Reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program, Part II."
