ON THE FLOOR

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on FY 2017 omnibus appropriations legislation.  The House is also scheduled to vote on the “Working Families Flexibility Act of 2017” (H.R. 1180).

The Senate will resume consideration of Jay Clayton to be Member of the Securities and Exchange Commission.  The Senate will also consider FY 17 omnibus appropriations legislation.

IN COMMITTEE

TUESDAY

  • The House Financial Services Committee will begin its markup of H.R. 10, the “Financial CHOICE Act of 2017.”  More information on the bill, including text of the legislation, is available at here. In addition, the markup will be broadcast live here.
  • The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on "Examining the U.S. -- EU Covered Agreements."

THURSDAY

  • The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on, "Reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program, Part II."
