The Week Ahead in Washington - November 12, 2018

ON THE FLOOR 

This week the House of Representatives returns to consider H.R. 6784, the Manage our Wolves Act.  House Republicans are also expected to hold leadership elections this week. 

The Senate also returns this week to consider the motion to concur in the House amendment with a further amendment to accompany S.140, Coast Guard Reauthorization.  The Senate will also consider the nomination of Michelle Bowman, of Kansas, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. 

IN COMMITTEE 

Tuesday 

The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing: “Big Bank Bankruptcy: 10 Years After Lehman Brothers” 

Wednesday 

The House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing: “Semi-Annual Testimony on the Federal Reserve’s Supervision and Regulation of the Financial System” 

Thursday 

The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing: “Semi-Annual Testimony on the Federal Reserve’s Supervision and Regulation of the Financial System”
