Learn More about Member Benefits
Following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CUNA is postponing all events through May 15, including this year's CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification Schools, April 19-24 in Clearwater Beach, FL.
Your health, safety and welfare are our highest priority, and we continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). At a time like this, credit unions are on the front lines of their communities ensuring members get the support they need.
For your immediate attention:
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this postponement causes. As we carefully continue monitoring CDC and WHO guidance, we'll keep you updated and provide updates on our website regarding future plans for this and other CUNA events.
When your credit union is compliant, operations run smoothly and unnecessary risks are reduced. However, maintaining a regulatory foundation and learning new approaches is easier said than done.
To meet the educational needs of new and experienced compliance professionals, CUNA offers two schools, Introduction and Update.
Introduction delivers the fundamentals of regulatory compliance in easy-to-understand terms, helping those who are newer understand regulatory complexities. Those with more experience will appreciate the in-depth review and renew their confidence. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation.Update is your chance to stay on top of any changes that have occurred in the regulatory world, ask questions, network with peers and hear from a variety of speakers. Current CUCE designees can also renew their certification by attending.
New this year:
Update attendees will benefit from an opening keynote speaker, Lauren Schieffer. As the daughter of a career U.S. Air Force officer, Lauren grew up being uprooted and relocated every couple of years. This imbued her with a profound independence and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. The lessons she learned from “The Colonel” have helped her make smart decisions and overcome adversity with humility and a sense of humor. Able to relate to and energize everyone from the custodial staff to C-level executives, Lauren is a master storyteller delivering insightful, inspirational and relevant content that empowers people to absorb and act upon what they learn.
