The Introduction Classes are intended for students needing fundamental compliance knowledge and for those interested in earning the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation. See the designation tab for more information. The classes are beneficial for credit union compliance staff, risk staff, auditors, lenders, operation staff, branch managers and trainers. Class dates are April 22-27, 2018 in New Orleans, LA or September 9-14, 2018 in Denver, CO.
Content is delivered in the form of pre-work, classroom training, and post-work. First, students receive access to pre-work approximately six weeks prior to the school. The pre-work is provided as pre-recorded online training and should be completed prior to attending classroom training.
Join your peers at this fun and relaxing networking event! New to CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School is “Cocktails with Compliance” - a casual event led by CUNA staff. We'll help get the conversation started with compliance tips and resources for new and experienced students.
Listen to music and enjoy refreshments while you meet credit union professionals from across the country. Network with your peers based on job description, credit union asset size, and geographic location. With your colleagues, you will have an opportunity to identify your greatest compliance challenges, pass along the best guidance you've received, and share your best advice for those new to the compliance field - you'll also have time to sit back, relax and mingle.

Once a compliance officer achieves the CUCE designation, we sometimes forget or put in the back of our minds the topics we don't deal with every day. We also may forget what a great resource the RegTraC modules can be. This class is designed to highlight some of the major provisions explained in the CUNA RegTraC NCUA Requirements and Guidance module and review some of the tools and resources in the module that can help lighten the regulatory load. Well, okay, let's be real, repeal of regulations is what would really lighten our loads but we know that's not going to happen. So let's say some of the tools and resources in the module that can help us deal with the regulatory load.

After the school, students will receive access to post-event training and a 90-day trial subscription to the newly enhanced CUNA RegTraC. The post-event training is not required to earn the CUCE certification.
