Vendor Exit Strategy Guide
Earn your Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM)® designation, provided by Compliance Education Institute, to enhance your knowledge. Vendor management has been under the regulatory magnifying glass for several years and is only growing in importance with the advent of increased outsourcing, cloud computing, high profile breaches and additional guidance being issued from all agencies. These factors have created a growing demand for professionals with NCUA Part 748 A, GLBA 501 (b) and FFIEC guidance regulatory knowledge and specialized expertise in building, implementing and managing compliant vendor management programs. In addition, there are numerous regulations to be aware of and comply with including those that your vendor is subject to even though they might not apply to your institution.
In this workshop, you will:
Certification: Earn the Compliance Education Institute CRVPM designation by attending the Vendor Management Certification Course and successfully passing the CRVPM exam. To maintain the CRVPM designation, recertification is required every year.
Recertification: Register for and attend Compliance Education Institute recertification training, and successfully complete recertification exam. Annual recertification cost is $199.

A Compliance Management System is how a credit union manages the entire consumer compliance process. It establishes the credit union's compliance responsibilities, communicates those responsibilities to employees, ensures that responsibilities for meeting legal requirements and internal policies are incorporated into business processes, reviews operations to ensure responsibilities are carried out and legal requirements are met and provides for processes to take corrective action and updates for tools, systems, and materials as necessary. In addition to the regulatory requirement, implementing a CMS can help all credit unions adequately manage their compliance responsibilities.
Join this workshop to learn the requirements of a good CMS and how to build one that is customized for your credit union.
