Jordan van Rijn is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds two master's degrees in Applied Economics (UW-Madison) and International Affairs (UC-San Diego). He is currently Senior Economist at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Prior to joining CUNA, Jordan worked in New Mexico as a Senior Loan Officer for Accion in New Mexico-a non-profit small-business lender-and in Colombia as a Research Associate for ideas42-a nonprofit organization that focuses on using behavioral economics to solve society's most difficult problems.
