How to earn the BSACS designation:

CUNA BSA/AML Certification Conference with NASCUS

  1. Register for the conference
  2. View the BSACS certification training session to prepare  for the certification exam. Attendees will receive training session access instructions approximately 30 days prior to the conference.
  3. Attend an instructor-led study session and take the exam at the conference

CUNA BSA/AML Certification eSchool or recorded eSchool with NASCUS

  1. Register for the eSchool or recorded eSchool
  2. Locate a proctor in your area.  For more information on proctor guidelines, click here
  3. Schedule your exam on a date that is before the exam deadline. The deadline is listed on the eSchool registration page
  4. Complete & submit the Proctored Exam Request form four weeks before your scheduled exam date. Remember to check the exam deadline on the eSchool registration page and plan accordingly. When completing the form, choose BSACS Certification Exam (SC503). You do NOT need a Comp Code.
  5. Prepare for the certification exam:
    • View the pre-recorded "BSA 101 and Compliance Specialist (BSACS) Certification Session."
    • NOTE: Exam content is covered during this session, students are not tested on the content of any other CUNA BSA/AML Certification eSchool session.
  6. Take the exam before the exam deadline
  7. Attend CUNA BSA/AML Certification eSchool
Recertification

To maintain designation, BSACS designees must recertify every three years. Below are the options.

CUNA BSA/AML Certification Conference with NASCUS

  1. Register for the conference
  2. Attend the conference.

CUNA BSA/AML Certification eSchool or recorded eSchool with NASCUS

  1. Register for the eSchool or recorded eSchool
  2. Attend CUNA BSA/AML Certification eSchool or recorded eSchool with NASCUS
