Credit unions across the country shifted many of their staff to remote work over the past few months, but as states being to allow businesses to open it’s up to each organization to figure out what that means.

Credit unions will likely be returning to workplaces slowly and deliberately. When that return happens and what it will look like, is dependent on many factors including stay at home orders, regulatory guidance, best practices and lessons learned along the way. It’s important to start thinking and planning about the decision to reopen now.

One of the first steps along the process is the classification of your staff to determine who goes back when. The definition of essential employee is based on the industry and the core responsibilities of the individual. You need to be prepared to evaluate your operations and staffing model and create designations that meet regulatory requirements and your operational needs.

By attending this webinar, you will:

  • Understand regulatory guidance surrounding employee classifications
  • Realize the significance of conducting an operations and staffing inventory
  • Review the impact of remote staffing models
  • Create required employee notifications

Who Should Attend

This webinar will be most beneficial to credit union compliance, HR and operations staff members as well as individuals in senior management in all departments.
