While there is no “one size fits all” for incident management, organizations should strive to understand the manner in which specific issue types are identified, flow through their organization’s “response” paths, are properly escalated and addressed and action items resolved. We’ll explore the essential elements and best practices of an Incident Response program and discuss approaches and solutions for challenges typically found across credit unions.

Learning objectives:

  • We will review the array of incident types and help you identify whether your program is sufficiently covering the key types – and discuss best practices and/or requirements for credit unions.
  • We will discuss best practices for escalation, response, resolution and continuous improvement of Incidents.
  • We will touch on the compliance and legal aspects within an Incident (e.g Duty of Care, Legal Privilege, etc.) as well as unique aspects of certain incident types faced by credit unions.
