MADISON, Wis. ? CUNA?s Home & Family Finance magazine ? the personal finance magazine written exclusively for credit union members ? was honored with a 2007 SNAP EXCEL Award, which recognizes exemplary work of association publishers on a national level.

The awards program, sponsored by the Society of National Publications, judged over 1,000 magazine, newsletter, scholarly journal, electronic publication, and Web site entries in the areas of editorial quality, design, general excellence, most improved, and more.

Home & Family Finance won a bronze award in the ?Magazine ? Single Topic Issue? category, which featured magazine submissions in which the entire issue or the majority of feature articles within one issue were devoted to a single theme. CUNA?s customizable quarterly magazine centers each issue around a specific personal finance topic and highlights the advantages of credit unions in that area.

Winners were announced June 14 at the 27th EXCEL Awards Gala, in Washington, D.C.
