MADISON, Wis. ? In just a few minutes a month, credit unions can easily send their members a high-quality monthly e-mail newsletter chock-full of personal finance tips and credit union branch news through CUNA?s new offering - Credit Union EZ Mail.

Initially, credit unions that subscribe to EZ Mail decide what the newsletter should look like by selecting one of several e-newsletter templates. The template is then customized with the individual credit union?s colors and logo, so each edition has the look and feel of the credit union?s Web site.

Each month, a professionally written and researched newsletter is crafted with articles, tips, and advice to help keep members up-to-date on important consumer issues, such as: identity theft, the Internet, wealth-building, credit unions, saving money, and the like.

A preview of the newsletter and its content is sent to the credit union prior to being sent to members on the 10th of each month, or any other date specified by the credit union. The newsletter can be left as is, or, through simple cutting and pasting, credit union branch news, current promotions, links, and images can quickly be added.

The newsletter is then delivered to the credit union?s subscriber list from a white-listed server, which means that more messages arrive in members? ?In? boxes rather than their junk, spam, or garbage folders. Delivery and subscriber database maintenance are taken care of in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act, so credit unions do not have to spend time updating subscriber lists and worrying about compliance issues.

Credit unions can also track their results through a variety of reports to determine how many messages were delivered and opened, the number of times specific links were followed, and even who opened the newsletter and followed the links.

Yearly subscription prices for Credit Union EZ Mail are based on credit union asset size. Discounts are offered to credit unions that subscribe to Anytime Adviser, Credit Union Calculators, Guides to Independence, Googolplex, Home & Family Finance Resource Center, or HomeValueBot.
