The Credit Union Awareness initiative is designed to increase consumer awareness and top-of-mind consideration for credit unions.




What we do

Our category-level branding supports long-term growth of our industry. The platform leads with the paid digital advertising campaign designed to get Americans to look at credit unions and correct their misperceptions about their ability to join and accessing their money. ​


What you do​

This campaign, created for credit unions by credit unions, is only successful if YOU, our credit union supporters, engage with the campaign and activate it locally in your markets. ​

Our Continued Success

Campaign effectiveness

Our paid digital campaign is a 24/7 engagement tool. And although consideration doesn’t happen overnight, we are seeing an increase in states and regions where the campaign has been underway the longest. For example, we have seen a 5% increase in consumer consideration in Minnesota and the Carolinas, as well as a 5% increase in credit union ad recall between 2019 and 2020.
