Attendee & Guest Tour: An Evening at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

Saturday, February 25, 2023, 5:45 pm – 10:30 p.m.
Price: $275 per adult

Enjoy an unforgettable evening at the Kennedy Center. Before heading to the show, guests will experience an exclusive reception at the Marriot Marquis Hotel with food and drinks. Following the reception, guests will be driven to the Kennedy Center’s main building to hear former NSO Music Director Christoph Eschenbach as he returns to lead Brahms’ idyllic Symphony No. 2. Hear its warm melodies and familiar lullabies conjure a verdant landscape—then blossom into a grand, uninhibited finale. Acclaimed soprano Chen Reiss lends her “voice of silver brightness and clarity” (Bachtrack) to a performance of Mozart’s scintillating motet Exsultate, jubilate.

Attendee & Guest Tour: Planet Word Language Arts Museum

Sunday, February 26, 2023, 9:45 am – 1:45 p.m.
Price: $315 per adult

You are invited to an expressive experience at one of Washington, D.C.’s newest museums, Planet Word. This language arts museum opened in October 2020 and is a place "where language comes to life.” Housed inside the historic Franklin School, guests will explore immersive displays and voice activated engagements from testing out their public speaking skills, using words to transform the color in the room, browsing a magical library filled with literary secrets, singing an iconic song karaoke style, and stepping into a humor gallery to determine the funniest peer among them. Guests will explore this museum with private use of Lexicon Lane, a word-sleuthing escape room, that includes a pop-up Mimosa Bar! They will then head downstairs to Immigrant Food where a deliciously designed brunch awaits. Guests are sure to continue their exploration in the power of language as they engage in brunch conversations with their peers.

Guest-only Tour: Arlington National Cemetery

Monday, February 27, 2023, 9:00 am – 2:20 p.m.
Price: $365 per adult

Roughly the size of 472 football fields, Arlington National Cemetery was built post-Civil War to honor those who fell in battle. This cemetery was built on the property of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and used as a Union headquarters after Lee’s family abandoned their home during the war. This remains a military cemetery today, with burial limited to active, retired, and former members of the armed forces, Medal of Honor recipients, high-ranking federal government officials, and their dependents, including the eternal flame at the gravesite of President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jackie Kennedy. Enjoy a private narrated bus and private trolley tour takes guests through the cemetery to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and President John F. Kennedy’s gravesite. During lunch guests will enjoy a meet and greet with a former Tomb Guard.

Guest-only Tour: Historic Homes of Washington

Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 9:00 am – 2:30 p.m.
Price: $240 per adult

A tour of private Washingtonian residences through the decades! First stop will be The Anderson House, a Gilded Age mansion on Embassy Row in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington. It was built in 1905 as the winter home of the Andersons for entertainment. Their home distinguished the Andersons as one of the capital's most sought-after hosts. ​From the opulent staircase to the majestic marble columns, the Anderson house is one of the most stunning showcases of classic Washingtonian architecture.

Next, you will head over to the Tudor Place where you will begin your experience with Afternoon Tea. Elegant Tudor Place teas satisfy the mind and nourish the appetite – a lovely way to relax and learn about this National Historic Landmark with friends or family. The teas begin with an endless supply of heritage tea blends offered with traditional tea sandwiches and sweets. After tea has been served, proceed to the historic house or into the garden for a private guided tour. Allen Pietrobon will join the group at tea to discuss the lifestyles of the rich & Famous in the Gilded Age to tie in with what the guests will be seeing.
