Marketing Compliance eSchool 2024 starting soon.

As much as we would love a “one size fits all” approach to marketing compliance, it just doesn’t exist. Each product and service your credit union advertises may need numerous disclosures that are triggered by what language you use and what loan terms you talk about. However, it is possible for your credit unions’ advertisements and marketing materials to be clever, colorful, creative, and compliant. This 4-part series is designed to provide credit union marketing professionals with knowledge of the major rules and requirements for marketing credit union products.

Take away: Attendees will get downloadable PDF of the “Compliance and Marketing Guide” (value of $44.95)

Who should attend?

This program is beneficial for anyone fulfilling or reviewing your Credit Union's marketing and advertising materials. We welcome all compliance and marketing professionals to attend.

For this session, we’ll talk about potential social media traps and why your credit union staff needs social media training. We’ll also review some general UDAAP considerations and discuss making risk-based decisions about UDAAP disclosures. We’ll ask attendees to share some successes and failures related to advertising compliance. We’re hoping attendees will also be willing to share some actual ads/flyers/brochures so everyone can apply what they’ve learned and review the submitted ads for compliance.

  • See alternate ways to advertise credit union products and services,
  • Reinforce primary marketing compliance issues.
