• Master your role as a volunteer

CUNA Volunteer Certification School is for volunteers who want to truly understand their function as the stewards of their credit union’s future. In sessions examining key volunteer responsibilities, attendees gain broad, practical knowledge that empowers them to make a greater impact on their board.

    Topics include:

    • Board duties, functions and governance
    • CEO succession planning
    • Financial trends and issues
    • Strategic planning

By completing the school, attendees gain the chance to earn the Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV) designation, a title that conveys expertise and commitment to volunteer service.

If you already have your CCUV designation, you can recertify it—while catching up on industry trends and hot topics—in the CCUV Update Program.

    Who Should Attend?

This program is beneficial for credit union volunteers, particularly those who are early on in their board service. The Update Program is beneficial for existing CCUVs looking to explore advanced topics.
