The CFPB announced plans to host
a Combined Advisory Committee Meeting via conference call on September 15.
The advisory groups will meet with the Bureau’s Taskforce
on Federal Consumer Financial Law to share recommendations on improvements
to the current state of federal consumer protection laws, regulations, and
practices.
The meeting is part of the Taskforce’s ongoing public
outreach effort to solicit feedback to inform its work. Interested

Separately, the CFPB will host
a regular meeting of the Advisory Committees via conference call on
September 23. The advisory groups will discuss the Impact of the COVID-19
Pandemic on Consumers and the Financial Marketplace, the ECOA RFI on Preventing
Credit Discrimination and Building a More Inclusive Financial System, and Elder
Fraud Prevention and Response Networks (EFPRN).
