Posted July 07, 2017 by Chandler Schuette

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) announced the appointment of four credit union professionals to the Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC).

  • Kayce Bell, Chief Development Officer, Alabama Credit Union, Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • Jack Fallis, President and CEO, Global Credit Union, Spokane, Wash.
  • Luis Peralta, Chief Administrative Officer, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif.
  • David Tuyo, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Operations Officer, Power Financial Credit Union, Pembroke Pines, Fla.

The CUAC, which includes many CUNA member credit unions, advises the bureau on how its rulemakings, enforcement actions, and policies are impacting credit unions. The members of the Council serve two-year terms.

CUNA looks forward to working with the new members of the Council and will continue to push the CFPB to tailor their regulations based on credit union size and complexity.
