CFPB Issues RFI on Consumer Complaints and Inquiries
Posted April 13, 2018 by Chandler Schuette

Earlier this week, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued its latest Request for Information (RFI).  The CFPB requests information on its handling of consumer complaints and inquiries

According to the CFPB, they are seeking comments and information from interested parties to assist the Bureau in assessing its handling of consumer complaints and consumer inquiries and, consistent with law, considering whether changes to its processes would be appropriate.

This is the 12th RFI since Director Mulvaney has joined the CFPB.  The CFPB will begin accepting comments once the RFI has been printed in the Federal Register and will accept comments for 90 days.
