CUAC Meeting Set for September 7 in Washington, DC

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently announced that the Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) will be holding a public meeting on September 7 at 3:30 PM at CFPB Headquarters in Washington, D.C.   

The CUAC, which includes many CUNA member credit unions, advises the bureau on how its rulemakings, enforcement actions, and policies are impacting credit unions. New members of the CUAC were appointed earlier this summer.   

The meeting’s agenda is expected to be released later this week.  CUNA plans to attend the meeting and will continue to push the CFPB to tailor their regulations based on credit union size and complexity.  Below you will find the current agenda for the public portion of the meeting the meeting will also be streamed live on the CFPB's website.
