Michael Duffy
Good business is good for the community. For Michael Patrick Duffy, there is no greater measure of success than having the ability to help those in need. As the CEO of our San Joaquin County’s largest credit union, he focuses on local economic development, financial literacy programs, and community outreach. He is well known among community high school students for teaching them to “Make the Right Money Moves.” For the students, it’s an engaging program preparing them for their next steps in the real world. For our community it’s filling a gap in financial literacy that credit unions work to fill across our country. Financial Center Credit Union also offers a generous scholarship program to local students and continually supports community outreach with donations and volunteerism.
As a member of the Stockton Community, Duffy dedicates much of his time personal time to worthy causes. He is currently a board member for the Reinvent Stockton Foundation and has previously held elected positions on the non-profit boards for St. Mary’s Interfaith Dining Room, Mary Graham Children’s Shelter Foundation, St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Stockton Police Foundation. These principles of business and community were imparted upon him by his father and mentor. Service is part of his very fabric.
Michael Patrick Duffy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Financial Center Credit Union. He attended San Francisco State University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in International Relations with a concentration in Middle East studies.
