Certified Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member (CCUSC) Designation

Become a strong and engaged leader on your supervisory committee

Being an effective member of the supervisory committee is crucial for all credit unions. Put your best foot forward by earning your Certified Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member designation. You'll come away with fundamental knowledge specific to your role, ready to lead your credit union forward.

To become a Certified Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member, you may choose from two methods of training:

CUNA Supervisory Committee and Internal Audit Conference
Attend this in-person training and you'll be eligible to earn your designation. Certain sessions are specified for you to attend and you'll complete an online exam after the conference.

CUNA Certified Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member eSchool (recorded)
For supervisory committee members who prefer to learn on their own schedule, the recorded eSchool allows you to take the sessions at your own pace.

Dates and more information will be posted here as they become available. If you have questions about earning this designation, please call 800-356-9655 or email hello@cuna.coop for assistance.

If you are due to recertify your CCUSC designation that is expiring this year, we will automatically extend your recertification deadline for one year to avoid a lapse in your certification. We will notify you as online recertification options become available.

CCUSC designations must be renewed every 3 years by attending one of the following events:

  • CUNA Credit Union Board Accelerator Virtual Conference
  • CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference
  • CUNA Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Leadership Conference
  • CUNA Credit Union Board Leadership Virtual Roundtable
  • CUNA Supervisory Committee & Internal Audit Conference

Once the requirements are met, please complete the form found here to verify recertification.

Dates and more information will be posted here as they become available. If you have questions about recertifying this designation, please call 800-356-9655 or email hello@cuna.coop for assistance.
