Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) Designation

More than 2,000 Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designees are leading their credit unions through the industry's most challenging compliance issues. The CUCE designation helps credit union compliance professionals with the issues they face:

  • Understanding the regulations and their implications
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest compliance regulations
  • Gaining confidence to tackle compliance issues
  • Staying connected with the world of compliance to learn about resources and keep the credit union compliant
  • Being recognized as experts in their field

Option 1:

CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Introduction or recorded eSchool: Introduction

  1. Register for Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Introduction (recorded)
  2. Locate a proctor in your area. For more information on proctor guidelines, click here.
  3. Schedule the five exams within one of the two exam windows. You will find the exam window dates on the eSchool registration page.
  4. Submit the Proctored Exam Request form no later than 4 weeks before your first scheduled exam. Remember to check the exam window dates found on the eSchool registration page and plan accordingly. Note, when completing the form, you do NOT need a Comp Code.
  5. Attend CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Introduction sessions and complete session requirements.
  6. Take and pass the five proctored exams.

These eSchools, as well as many others, are available to CUNA Training Bundle users at no additional cost.

Option 2:

CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School: Introduction, April 24 – 29 in Chicago

  1. Register for and attend CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School: Introduction
  2. Take and pass the five onsite exams

To maintain the designation, CUCE designees must recertify every three years. Below are the options.

Option 1:

CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Update or recorded eSchool: Update

To maintain the designation, CUCE designees must recertify every three years.

  1. Register for CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Update. Request to be notified when details become available.
  2. Attend CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Update sessions in late summer/early fall 2022.
  3. Once the requirements are met, please complete the form found here to verify recertification.

These programs, as well as many others, are available to CUNA Training Bundle users at no additional cost.

Option 2:

CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School: Update, April 24 – 28 in Chicago

  1. Register for CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School: Update
  2. Attend CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School: Update sessions
