Windom is an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE ®), a Military Family Life Personal Financial Counselor (MFLPFC), a personal finance and financial capability educator with over 25 years of financial industry experience plus 15 years' experience as a highly effective Financial Counselor, facilitator, financial literacy instructor and program specialist, financial capability educator and program specialist, financial wellness and financial inclusion educator and program specialist, and adult education specialist. Moreover, 10 years' experience as a NW trainer and faculty member.
Adept at training, counseling, and providing financial advice to people from all walks of life - from low income to the affluent, from the under-served to the under-banked, from minorities to immigrants, people in crisis from natural disasters, first time and current home owners, small businesses, high school youth to college students, people with serious debt or credit issues, service members and veterans. Mr Windom understands that personal financial management is just that--personal and strives to keep the people he works with fully engaged and in control of their finances.
