Frank Kressman
Frank has been with NCUA since 1998. He joined NCUA as a staff attorney drafting regulations and writing legal opinions. In June 2011, Frank became the Associate General Counsel for the Administrative Law Section, handling all administrative law issues affecting NCUA. In May 2012, he became the Associate General Counsel for the Regulations and Legislation Section known as Regs & Legs. The Regs & Legs Section is responsible for drafting all agency regulations, interpreting existing NCUA regulations and the Federal Credit Union Act, and drafting legal opinions on them. The section also reviews legislative proposals affecting credit unions. In 2019, Frank became Deputy General Counsel overseeing both the Administrative Law Section and the Reg and Legs Section. In 2021, he was named General Counsel after serving in an acting capacity for the previous year.
