Kendall Stensvad, CRCM
Kendall Stensvad is the Senior Vice President of Compliance, Deputy General Counsel, and BSA and OFAC Officer at State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU), a $50 billion institution and the nation’s second largest credit union by asset size. She oversees a team of talented professionals in BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance, in addition to general Regulatory Compliance for the Credit Union. In this role, she is responsible for adherence to all applicable state and federal requirements across the organization.
Prior to her current role, Kendall served as Vice President – Senior Compliance Counsel overseeing Regulatory Compliance for SECU, and before joining SECU in 2019, Kendall worked on compliance, supervision, and enforcement matters at a top law firm. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law. In addition to being an attorney licensed in North Carolina and Georgia, Kendall is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and two children.
