Kristen Prather
Kristen Prather is the State Director of Grassroots Programs at CUNA. In this role she leads our digital grassroots efforts on Project Zip Code, the grassroots action center, and Credit Unions Vote. In 2020 she was recognized as being one of the Top 20 Advocacy Professionals by the Advocacy Association. She has been at CUNA since 2008 and has been an integral part of several successful advocacy campaigns including Don’t Tax My Credit Union and 100 Million Memberships in addition to the current Protect My Card and Advancing Communities campaigns. Prior to joining CUNA she was a political fundraiser for the Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. Other previous work experiences include working at a boutique lobbying firm, Capitol Hill, and several political campaigns. She is originally from northeast Ohio and a proud Ohio sports fan.
