Zach Matheny
Zach Matheny is the Training Manager at Air Academy Credit Union with more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. He has been a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor since 2020 and has a passion for helping people better their financial well-being. From speaking in high school classrooms to community financial education seminars, Zach believes in improving the lives of everyone, no matter their background, by equipping them with the financial knowledge to reach their goals.
This value-based philosophy is what leads his decisions as Vice President of the Pikes Peak Chapter of the GoWest Association. The chapter partners with local non-profits to give back to our community through financial seminars, a financial literacy program for low-income families, supporting our local food bank, and cleaning up our local trails with the mindset of making a difference on the local level.
In Zach’s free time, you can often find him seeking adventure through the many opportunities the beautiful state of Colorado provides. While he dabbles in many areas, traditional climbing has always drawn him in for the freedom it provides.
