CUNA and the Foundation Encourage CFPB During National Financial Literacy Month
Posted April 27,2017 by ManojBhoi

In honor of National Financial Literacy Month, CUNA and the National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation) sent a letter to CFPB Director Cordray encouraging the CFPB to work with credit unions to empower consumers with financial knowledge.  The letter highlights the credit union difference and cites everyday examples of service provided by America’s credit unions.  CUNA and the Foundation also thanked the CFPB for participating in a credit union Financial Reality Fair held in Dallas, TX last fall and encouraged the CFPB to participate in other similar credit union events in the future to better understand the credit union difference.

Tomorrow, CUNA and the Foundation will be representing credit unions on Capitol Hill for their Annual Financial Literacy Day.  CUNA will continue to work hand in hand with Foundation to teach and encourage financial literacy for all Americans – truly living the credit union difference!
